Xứ Wales vừa khánh thành một trang trại điện gió tại vịnh Liverpool, cách bờ biển 18 km. Tổng đầu tư cho dự án này khoảng 2 tỷ bảng, với sự tham gia của 3 tập đoàn hàng đầu thế giới về hiệu quả năng lượng và năng lượng tái tạo.

Trong năm 2015-2016, Ban quản lý dự án LCEE cho biết sẽ tiếp tục triển khai các hoạt động theo kế hoạch. Trong đó, Ban quản lý dự án sẽ xem xét, xác định tiêu chí lựa chọn trình diễn và xác định các giải pháp, công nghệ đầu tư TKNL.
