PV Gas exceeds production plan in 2010

The year of 2010 is considered an important year in the development of Petro Vietnam in particular and of the entire petroleum industry in general.

Besides ensuring the completion of the production plan of the year, the Company is also facing challenges in implementing targets in the final year of the five year plan 2006-2010 with volatile external conditions. It is the time the Company enters the process of equitization, with the requirements of enhancing position and attracting investment.

Up to 27th October 2010, PV Gas has completed and exceeded planned targets in 2010. Dry gas production and consumption reached 7,802 million m3, 103% of planned target in 2010. Total sales reached VND36,804 billion, 125% of planned target in 2010. State budget contribution reached VND2,319 billion, 147% of planned target in 2010. Earnings before tax reached VND4,929 billion, 173% of planned target in 2010. Earnings after tax reached VND4,096 billion, 196% of planned target in 2010.
